So from my design drawing and collages I began to experiment with sampling some of my own designs to create tiles. I used a number of different plastic and just heat pressed my designs between to sheet of clear acetate as I found this worked best. Here are some of my initial samples.
The last
set of 4 tiles I feel worked best form my designs and I loved the textures they
made each time they where melted. I also loved the fact that each one would
melt different and create a different texture. Therefore i wanted to take this
concept further.
