The exhibition itself
included over 100 of the most iconic and unforgettable film characters from a
century of Hollywood filmmaking (1912-2012). These iconic cinema costumes have
never left the private and archival collections in California. Most of these
clothes have never been publicly displayed and have never been seem beyond the
secure walls of the studio archives.
There was a wide
range of costumes from Charlie Chaplin to the cutting edge design of Avatar. It
also include costumes from Fight Club, Indian Johns Raiders of the Lost Ark,
Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Shakespeare In Love, Titanic, Sugar Kane Kowalczyk,
Some like it Hot (both Marilyn Monroe) Breakfast at Tiffany’s (classic Audrey
Hepburn) Chicago, Atonement, harry potter, spider man, Pirates of the Caribbean
and wizard of Oz including the classic red slippers.
The exhibition
includes 2 case studies with the participation on camera of the great American actors
Robert De Niro and Meryl Steep with 5 costumes chosen from their most memorable

Overall it was an
